Room Dedication Celebrates Galen & Karen Huffman’s Impact on Community and Faith
The room dedication on November 20th was a poignant tribute to Galen & Karen Huffman whose lives embodied humility, generosity, kindness, and unwavering faith. As the plaque was unveiled, those present were reminded of the lasting impact these remarkable people had on their community, always serving others without seeking recognition. Their quiet strength and deep compassion shaped countless lives, offering support to those in need and fostering a spirit of unity and love. This room, now a lasting tribute, stands as a reminder of their extraordinary legacy—one built not on accolades, but on a heart for others and a commitment to living out their faith through everyday acts of goodness. We were fortunate to have two of Galen and Karen’s children, Jana and Jeff, present for the event, and their younger brother Eric’s room mate, Sid Toll. Eric Huffman was an individual served by DSNWK for many years.
